Well, we had a meeting at work last Friday. Looks like we will at least make it until October. Then it is anyone's guess what will happen. I can't really imagine working anywhere else at this time of my life, but well i suppose necessity dictates.
So as it stands, the art car is on hold.
Until i can actually move forward with this, she will continue to live in my head and drive me nuts wanting to make her happen.

holy shit! have i mentioned how excited i am???!!! I haven't been this jazzed about anything art-like since i painted my ass.
I'm so stoked... i'm scavenging everyplace i can think of... for STUFF. you know how much i like STUFF... as in stuffandstuffandstuff...STUFF is great... it's the polarbiproduct of everything that is 'merican, yes indeedy! woooohooooo! my creative shit is on fire and i am chomping at the bit to find a car. there is a fellow at work who's daughter wants to get rid of her 1995 toyota camry... i was thinking something more boxy and precious.. like a rambler... but who the hell am i kidding?! i know DICK about working on a car so i better get something that is running - sortof.
at this point in the journey, all i have are sketches, front view, side view.... today i stole pics off the innertube and made a collage pic of her... i can see her, oh yessss. don't get me wrong, i know that as things come to pass evolution will take place... that is part of the fun.

so what is the "theme"? it starts with my fixation on mona... and gravitates toward a celebration of the creative mind. human beans are the most fascinating of all life on earth.... exponential potential for wondrous creative acts. Nature is beautiful in the highest sense of the word - but creativity originating from humans lead to such chaotic unexpected magnificent acts, maybe it's the compare and contrast aspect of what we are capable of, i don't know... all i know is when it moves in a positive direction it is freakin awesome.
